Refund Policy
Last updated: 13 July 2026
This policy covers the optional paid cloud password-recovery service on officepasswordremover.com. The core protection-removal tool is free, so nothing here applies to it.
Pay on success — no charge for a failed attempt
You are charged only after we have successfully recovered your password, and only when you choose to reveal it. If we cannot recover it, you pay nothing — so for an unsuccessful attempt there is nothing to refund.
When we refund a charge
Where a charge has been taken, we provide a full refund in the case of a technical fault on our side — for example, an incorrect password being revealed, or a charge being taken without the recovered password actually being made available to you. Because the service delivers a successful recovery at the moment of purchase, refunds outside of such a fault are not generally available.
Keeping your recovered password
We deliver your recovered password once, and for your privacy we permanently delete our copy within 72 hours — we cannot look it up for you afterwards, so please save it as soon as it is shown (copy or download it). Losing a password you were successfully given is not a fault on our part and is not, by itself, grounds for a refund. However, if you later lose the password but still have the file, you can recover it again: contact us with your original order and we will waive the charge for re-recovering a file you have already paid for.
How to request a refund
Contact support@officepasswordremover.com with your order details and a short description of the problem, and we will put it right. Card payments are processed by Stripe; refunds are issued by us directly to your original payment method.
